The house has Bronze windows supplied by CoorItalia which complement the use of French Limestone outside

French Val du Nod Limestone

A close-up of the limestone

The same stone is used throughout almost all the inside

The columns are sectional (see the "Columns" page under Products for how they were manufactured)

The Pietra Leccese is a softer stone that offsets nicely with the Limestone floor

The same entry door from the outside, where Limestone slabs where used within the stucco wall

The fireplace was carved in France from solid limestone from the same quarry as the flooring

One of the shop drawings show the number of pieces

Manufacturing the legs in France

Sink, pedestal and floor were all made of Calacatta Gold marble

The floor is bookmatched, meaning that the block is cut in such a way to alow the veins to floe from one tile into the next

SANTA LUCIA PRESERVE

CASE STUDY

Nestled on a hill overlooking this breathtaking Carmel preserve, Andrew Batey designed a house that exudes symmetry, solidity and spirit of place. He asked CoorItalia to supply the stone and windows for the project and the choice fell on French Limestone. Elsewhere we showed the inspection the the French quarry to select the material

Together with the Interior Designing firm Orlando Diaz Azcuy, CoorItalia participated in the creation of a unique jewel of a powder room
